SAMBA DE JANEIRO is our first homebred mare by SIR DONNERHALL - SION. Her dam SAMBARIN was our first broodmare, which we acquired in foal to DON SCHUFRO in 2006. Fritz Ostmeyer had given us the tip at the time and he was spot on. SAMBARIN was the ideal mare for us to start breeding. She had already produced some good foals, was uncomplicated to handle and had a sensational character. Her strong bloodline was another good reason for us to "go for it". She comes from the Hanoverian half-blood line of DESSELEE. The mare passes on absolute toughness and health. Jenny's older full sister SHATANOUGA is already highly successful at medium (M**) and advanced (S) level under her owner Tobias Wiemerslage.

Due to her high blood percentage, Jenny was only broken in and covered as a four-year-old. She also passed her mare performance test at the age of four and was awarded the Verband premium. Her foals to date are all of a piece, although they are sired by different stallions. A colt by DE NIRO from 2015 was sold to Hof Kasselmann. In 2020, "Diorissimo" is a serial winner in elementary (L) level dressage tests for young horses and on the way to medium (M) level. In 2016, she spoiled us with a little movement artist by ROCK FOREVER, who we sold to Baden Württemberg as a 2-year-old. In 2017, we had a beautiful filly by FLORISCOUNT, which we kept for breeding. The full sister to "Fräulein" from 2018 was sold to Berlin. We are rearing the filly from 2019 by RUBIN ROYAL and hope that she will one day succeed her mother and grandmother. A filly by De Royal was born in 2020. This foal has also found great new owners.

In 2021 we sold Jenny in foal to the south of Germany.
